You walked in to this place?
I was walking on the same path
Looking at the leaves falling down.
I felt the change in the air,
When my eyes found you there.
You seemed so lost and I guess
You needed someone to show you the way.
We’re all looking for a place called home,
We’re all trying for not to be left alone.
I stretched out my hand and you gave yours,
You smiled at me and I got a crush.
We walked along in the rain,
In the sun down that lane.
One fine day as I walked by,
I saw the signs of change once again.
The dark clouds gathered in the sky
And soon it began to rain.
You waved your hand wishing me goodbye
And I could just look up at the sky.
I walked back thinking about you;
The leaves lay on the road.
I just smiled and carried on.
